How high should I hang my chandelier?

According to the American Lighting Association, on an 8 foot ceiling, the bottom of the chandelier should be 30” above the table. Add 3 inches for every foot above eight feet. For example, if you have an eleven foot ceiling: hang your fixture 39” above the table.

Do I need to make an appointment?

You do not need to make an appointment for a lighting layout; however, one is recommended.

What can I expect during my lighting layout?

The appointment will last 1 to 2 hours. If you need more time we can set up a second consultation to review and finalize your selections. Some manufacturers do have a restocking fee on special order items so being confident with your selections is important.

Here are a few tips:

Know your light fixture allowance
Bring your floor plans, with ceiling heights
Find out your estimated closing date
Allow at least a 4 week order time, the earlier you select the better. The less time you allow will limit your products to select from.
If your electrical is already set, know the placement and quantity of fixtures.
Know what color and finish selections you have already made, faucets, hardware, trim color etc. Bring samples.

Lights On offers a onetime free delivery on house jobs to areas within a 30 mile radius.

What is your return policy?

Lights On has a no hassle return and exchange policy. We want to make sure you’re happy. If you are unsatisfied with any Lights On product for any reason, we are pleased to accept your returns. However, please note the following:

Lights On accepts normal stocking merchandise returns within 45 days of receipt date.
Products eligible for return must be new, unused, unaltered and contain all original product packaging.
Fixtures with cut wires, missing parts, missing glass or damaged are not returnable.
Special order items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
